About.
My professional career began aged 24 when I decided to follow my passion for exploring the world and headed off to Africa to photograph life among the last hunter-gathering communities of the Kalahari Desert.
Since then Iv’e spent 30 years behind the lens as a videographer, photographer and filmmaker creating content for famous names such as National Geographic, Red Bull, NBC, Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, Arte, France 2 and the BBC. Awards include UNESCO ‘Best Documentary’ for cinematography on feature documentary ‘Shooting With Mursi’.
My photographs have featured in The Independent, Huffington Post, Daily Mail, Conde Nast, Time Out, Geographical Magazine and numerous other outlets.
Much of my professional time now is spent focusing on projects of cultural or environmental value..
I’ve recently founded PHOTO EXPLORERS which combines photography masterclasses with responsible adventure travel.
