    A series of striking images that capture the raw, elemental beauty of Morocco’s local culture and landscapes. Combining fine art photography with an authentic documentary approached, the images are all captured using long-exposure photography hand held at around 1/8 of a second The ‘slow motion’ effect is completely natural, mimicking the movement of the subject - inviting the viewer for a second look at passing scenes they would ordinary overlook while travelling through Morocco.

    A series of 8 haunting images that capture winter fog as night becomes day on the River Thames at Brentford. The photographs pay homage to the secret life of the river here from both its natural and man-made perspective. The islands are a hidden sanctuary for birds and wildlife, while the hulks of barges a last reminder of the area’s once bustling maritime and shipping heritage. When fogs descend, it's as if these silent voices momentarily come into focus. Brentford’s postcode is TW8. Photographed in Winter 2022 / 23.

    A Punt is a traditional flat-bottomed boat, familiar to the gentle waterways of Oxford. In summer the boats are big tourist draw. This series of 8 images captures the colourful, delicious and occasionally absurd medley of boaters who descend to try out their hand at punting. Each image was photographed at extremely slow shutter-speed. Photographed Autumn 2022.

    A series of long exposure photographs of the the J’Ouvert (The Opening) ceremony at the start of Notting Hill Carnival 2022. J’Ouvert is a Caribbean cultural festival with historic and religious overtones datong back to the emancipation of slavery.

    A series of 12 black & white images featuring Africa’s largest waterfall, known locally as “The Smoke That Thunders”. The images explore not only the raw power of water but also its relationship to the surrounding rocks, vegetation and elemental space.
